Research problem: The media is incredibly powerful in Bangladeshi culture because of its ability to inform, move around, and alter perceptions. However, concerns about the media's ethical obligations, influence, and dynamics on public opinion and societal values have surfaced during the disruptive digital revolution and the spread of social media platforms. Thus, comprehending the media's complex role in Bangladesh particularly in forming societal values, influencing public discourse, and forming perceptions is central to the research problem. It will examine how gender roles, family relationships, and society values are portrayed in entertainment material as well as how global media affects cultural preferences and perspectives.
Fourth, the investigators will investigate how social media influences information consumption, public debate, and the establishment of bubbles of filtering and echo chambers. The study examines material trends, engagement trends, and interactions between users on platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook in order to better understand how social media influences public opinion, views on politics, and societal perceptions.
