Have you ever considered how CHANGE happens at the social level? IN other words, how does a society evolve from embracing one point of view on a subject to rejecting it and adopting a new point of view?
Most often, change occurs via a Social Movement which engages an issue and points us to a new way of thinking or behaving. A Social Movement is defined as a sustained campaign in support of a social goal, typically either the implementation or the prevention of a change in society's structure or values. Although social movements differ in size, they are all collectives of different people who all believe int he same purpose or outcome for society.
