Chapter states "Yoga is a course of exercises and postures intended to promote control of the body and mind and to attain physical and spiritual well-being." Images in popular culture can make it easy to assume that yoga is only for certain people. Different body types, abilities and ethnicities are not always represented in the yoga community. However, yoga can be accessible to people of all body shapes, ages, genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and abilities.

Share whether you have or have not tried yoga. If you have, describe your experience. If you haven't tried yoga before, what do you perceive as barriers to trying yoga?
