Interview Instructions:

1. Interview a front-line supervisor or manager who works in your business or organization.

2. Read through the following 4 questions developed to help get you started:

• How do you work with leaders from other parts of the organization?
• How do you hold your people accountable for their performance and provide constructive feedback?
• What advice do you have on providing constructive feedback to employees?
• How do you keep yourself and your team motivated?

3. Develop 3 additional questions to ask at your interview, for a total of 7 questions

• You will also want to think about some follow up questions you may ask, although these may vary depending on your interviewee's responses.

Interview Write-Up Instructions:

1. Construct a Word document to summarize your interview.

• Write a title for your document (e.g. Rory's Interview with Sherry Smith).
• Name the person you interviewed and list their position or title and any other interesting information you may have on the individual.

2. Write a paragraph for each question you asked. In the paragraph, include the following:

• The question (and any follow-up questions you asked).
• A summary of their response.
• A brief explanation of what you learned from their response and how you plan to apply this in your role.
