How do you think most customers of dominant groups respond when they are served before other customers who had arrived first in a store or restaurant? Would they typically recognize that it may be due to race, age, or gender? How likely is that these customers notice someone else had been skipped? Have you observed (or experienced) such an event?

How do you think most customers of non-dominant groups respond when treated unfairly in a store (e.g., being passed over for service)? If a customer were to complain to store management about disparate treatment what could the manager do to retain the customer? How should the manager respond to the employee?
