For this reflection, think about the iconography of the Hindu Gods and the images of Buddha then consider the following questions regarding image use in Christianity. Christianity has many ways it has depicted Jesus over the years despite not having any physical description. Do you think there is a similarity in the purpose of these images of Jesus in Christianity and the depictions of Gods/deity/supernatural beings in other religions we have studied?
