Assignment:

Please answer these questions, explain, and also indicate a source:

1) From a young age, children are frequently exposed to toys and activities marketed to specific genders. How do you think children's encounters with gendered toys and activities shape their sense of masculinity and femininity?

2) Do you think technology primarily worsens child health disparities, improves them, or both? Please explain your answer.

Also please respond to this paragraph:

1) I feel like technology can worsen child health disparities due to unequal access to resources. Families with limited access to technology may struggle to access essential health information and services, widening the gap between those who can afford advanced medical care and those who cannot. Additionally, excessive screen time and inactive behaviors associated with technology can contribute to poor physical health outcomes such as obesity and chronic issues.

On the other hand, technology has the potential to improve child health disparities by facilitating telemedicine, which can provide remote healthcare access to underserved communities. Educational apps and online resources can also encourage children with knowledge about healthy behaviors and lifestyles. So, the impact of technology on child health disparities ultimately depends on how effectively it is utilized to address systemic inequalities and promote reasonable access to healthcare and information.
