After you watch the documentary, answer the following questions:
1. What was something you found surprising, interesting or troubling from the documentary? Describe the example and why you felt that way.
2. How do you think medical professionals can best care for people at the end of their lives? Include at least one example from the documentary that you found to be either a strong or weak approach.
3. Think back to our conversations about cultural competence in class. How might providers include aspects of cultural competence in their approach to providing care to people at the end of their lives?
4. Make a connection between the documentary and either a concept from class, fictional example (e.g., in a book, TV show, movie), real life example from the news or social media, or personal experience. Did the documentary make you think about this example or concept differently?
