In this discussion board exercise (which is used for taking attendance as you should know by now thanks to the fact that you have read your syllabus and completed the Orientation Module), your job is to explain how your perspective or thoughts or understanding of history have changed so far. Did anything you learn get you to look at history differently yet? Was there anything you read or listened to that gave you that "I really have never thought about that before" moment? If so, share. If not, explain how you came to think about history in the ways that the content of this course is presented. Talk a bit about what your thoughts are when it comes to the discussion on how historians "frame" history. What about how we are "framing" history in this course? How do you feel about this "framing?"
After that, give a short statement pertaining to your thoughts on the theory of evolution, which is still a very controversial issue in the United States.
