Question: Beauty and Art are very subjective. What is beautiful, creative, and artistic to one may be ugly, offensive, or vulgar to another. What can our values about beauty, art, and creative expression tell us about our identity? This week you will briefly interview someone to learn more about their perceptions of beauty to learn more about how they value creative expression. Begin by writing 10 to 15 potential interview questions. Your first question should be asking permission to speak to the interviewee and how they want to be identified (Ex. Are you willing to let me interview you and how should I identify you in my writeup?). Your following questions should pertain to beauty. Sample questions can be broad or more focused and might include:
