Questions:
1) Read/ view the assigned sources for week 16.
2) Develop a short survey (could be 3-4 questions) that you will use to poll your friends, family, co-workers, etc. You'd probably want to ask: 1) How do you define 'feminism'? 2) Are you a feminist? (yes/ no); 3) Why? And feel free to ask any other (appropriate) questions as you wish.
3) Write a paper about your findings, connecting themes in the responses your sources provide to 3 assigned course readings/ films.
• What are the results? Note any commonalities between responses. Do you notice any patterns? Anything interesting among your respondents? Do your results match those of Aronson? Try to get as many people as possible to respond, and then write up your analysis.
4) In your conclusion, review your response paper, where you described your own attitudes, understanding, and beliefs surrounding feminism. Compare that statement to where you stand on the topic today-maybe you want to note any changes, or perhaps nothing has changed. Either way, reflect upon your first response paper as a way of tying up the paper.
