Assignment:

The purpose of this assignment is to get you to research and assess local community resources or to use the internet for universal, accessible online resources that support families and educators working to support inclusion of children with special needs. Upon completion of this assignment, you will upload your work to both the lms.lbcc.edu site, as well as a shared Google Drive, where you will have access to all of your classmate's resources, as well. For this assignment you will need to do one of the following options:

OPTION A: Locate and go to ONE local community resource relevant to the subject matter discussed in our course, and evaluate it by answering the questions, including assessing how the information could be used to support families or educators working to support inclusion of children with special needs This may include interviewing staff and/or collecting pamphlets or resources on site. Please answer in full sentence form and type the information. For this option, you must also provide a .jpeg of a pamphlet or resource collected and/or an image of yourself at the site. Please include the following information:

2. What service does it provide to children with special needs and their families?

3. Who can qualify for these services? What are the requirements?
