How do we write a two-page business memorandum.  The memo should be addressed to the members of the United States Congress.  Assuming that most of the members of congress have little to no experience with inflation.  memo should cover the following areas.

1. Define inflation, and what does it mean for the average consumer?
2. How does inflation impact individuals living on fixed income?
3. How can US government authorities help to lower inflation?
4. What role can the US Federal Reserve do to lower inflation?
5. Is the price of fossil fuels causing inflation?
6. What is wage inflation?  Is this a concern contributing to overall inflation?
7. Will the US economy grow less and maybe even fall into a recession if interest rates rise to fast?

Memorandum should make defensible recommendations addressed to the members of congress outlining how we would recommend specific policies to reduce inflation?

Be creative - think about if you are managing a company - how is inflation going to impact your business?  higher costs?  raising prices to customers?  Will you have to hire less workers due to rising wages? Do businesses have an ethical responsibility to accept lower profits and not pass inflationary costs on to its consumers.  How will you motivate workers if you can't pay them higher wages?
