So since you guys have started on the topic of thyroid regulation, let's have someone look into Grave's disease and the autoimmune antibodies that are produced that hook onto TSH receptors in the thyroid gland and cause super high levels of T3 and T4 ------ how does it happen? Why is it more prevalent in women? How do we detect Grave's disease? When an endocrinologist orders thyroid function tests they always include both TSH and T3/T4 -- why?
