Assignment: The podcasts assigned this week discuss resilience at the individual and organizational level-what it looks like and why it's important.

Bershin (2020) suggested that a sense of joy also relates to people being more resilient.

Question:

Do you think it's possible to have a sense of joy at work? Is this something you currently have? Is it something that you hope to have at your current or future workplace? Please explain.

Coonan (2019) discussed 3 characteristics of being resilient: a) not being resistant to change (not being afraid), accepting the current situation, taking action; b) sense of purpose, life has meaning; c) ability to improvise, be flexible, be creative.

How do those characteristics relate to self-care? How could you turn each of those characteristics into a self-care strategy?
