Abstract:

Present an architecture for distributed systems which provides arithmetic services as micro services and is easily extensible to support various other services. The servers are deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) with AWS simple storage service (S3) hosting the data files. The idea is to get more familiarity with Amazon web services and in general build a service from scratch which resembles products deployed on Cloud.

For instance, Cloud security be an issue that needs to be looked into? How do the multi-server configuration look like? Is it process-based, thread-based (leaning on local thread libraries)?
