Question: How we view the world is a result of own experiences and perceptions, and with that can come hurdles that possibly prevent us from fully taking advantage of the opportunities that cultural diversity can offer within the workplace. Create a PowerPoint presentation in which you interpret how personal and societal mindsets can act as a barrier to diversity. This presentation continues your original out-brief presentation from your local workgroup. Consider the following questions:

• What are some of the personal and societal mindsets that exist that prevent acceptance of diversity?

• How do stereotypes, biases, and cultural baggage play a role?

• What are some ways that a human resources professional can assist in alleviating these mindsets in an organization to help create a culture that embraces diversity?

Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as "speaker notes" for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists. Support your presentation with at least five (5) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included. Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style where appropriate.

Length: 12-15 slides (with a separate reference slide).

Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide.
