Read Robert Gifford's (2007) "Territoriality" from the Encyclopedia of Social Psychology, the chapter entitled "Proxemics" by Peter Andersen (2009) from the Encyclopedia of Communication Theory, and the chapter entitled "Personal Space" by Robert Sommer (2009) from the Encyclopedia of Human Relationships.
