Question: Think about the Total Product Concept: The Core of a product may be similar to many of its competitors. Think of clothing. Shoes, socks, shorts, and shirts for example - most people have two legs, two feet, two arms, and one head, so how different can the core product be? Yet some people will spend incredible amounts on shoes, socks, shorts or shirts that are really no different to other, less expensive brands at the core and even tangible product level. Provide an example of either shoes, socks, shorts, or shirts that are in fact no different than competing brands at the core and tangible levels, but command much higher retail prices and explain using the Total Product Concept.
