CASE STUDY
A man with a textile company Ltd, who is so much interested in the training and development of the employees. He had a very good and cordial relationship with his employees. One day he felt very sick and so his son Mr Ampon had to take over from his father Mr Apurugu. When Mr Ampon took over he reduced cost of 30% in the organization. Mrs Mafi who was the HR manager could not reject any action taken by the CEOs sons. So Employees were laid off. Laid off employees where then absorbed by another company.

Questions:

(1) Employees are the "competitive advantage of Apurugu textile Ltd". Comment on this "statement " relating to the approach of Mr Apurugu.

(2) How did you judge the actions of Mr Apurugu taken by Mr Ampon to reduce the cost of labour. Was it really a successful one?

(3) "We have gained the profit by loosing are wealth". Discuss the statement of Mrs Mafi the HR and support her statement.
