Question: Stop the film on the images as need be. Compare and contrast the wide shot of the exterior of the house with the interior of the bedroom in terms of all the elements of Mise-en-Scene. Notice when different characters are lit differently in the same set of shot/reverse shots. Notice when the depth of field becomes shallow.

What, in your opinion, was the director trying to achieve? How did you feel about the characters? How did the Mise-en-Scene support that? Did the Mise-en- Scene tell us anything about Joe's character? About Norma's?
