You will identify a member of the community ("Crisis Personnel") who is involved in the regular response to crises in the community. Examples include a police officer, fire fighter, medical/mental health professional or pastoral leader.
After receiving instructor approval, you will review the Interview Etiquette Form and contact the crisis personnel you identified in Module/Week 2 to set up an interview time that is convenient for them. You will use the provided interview questions in the Crisis Personnel Interview Guide to conduct an interview lasting up to 1 hour. After the interview is complete, you will write and submit a 2-3 page write up of your findings, documenting answers to the interview questions and detailing your overall reaction to the interview. This write up must adhere to current APA formatting rules and include a title page and reference page. (The reference page will include at least one source: personal communication.)
