The "song of innocence and experience" is an artistic work written by William Blake in 1789. Blake played an essential role in the romantic period and counter- enlightened thoughts through his poem. The book appeared in two phases, innocence and experience. These reflect two contrary human souls. In his poetic piece, the author personalized the figures of love, mercy, peace, and pity and listed them as the virtues of delight. Songs of Innocence Describe the happy, innocent perception in countryside life, on the contrary, Songs of Experience describe the realities of poverty and exploitation throughout the industrial revolution.
