Question: From 1810 to 1914 the world was increasingly technologically advanced, interconnected and globalized as never before seen in modern history.Nationalism and Imperialism were two ideologies that increasingly drew whole countries and empires together and tore them apart, that led to conflicts in the nineteenth century (1800s), and into the most cataclysmic conflict of all: World War One (1914-1918). How did nationalism and imperialism develop from 1810 to 1914, plunging the world into this global war by 1914? First give the definitions of nationalism and imperialism. Then discuss them with the focus on two (2) of the following four (4) places that illustrate the historical importance and development of nationalism and imperialism, and show how both places are inter-related: a) Europe, b) The United States of America, c) Asia, and/or d) Africa. Be sure to mention specific events and policies; the major conferences, the host city/country, and representative countries in attendance at the conferences; specific names of countries and colonies; names and titles of individual world leaders; wars; treaties; alliances; and the immediate reasons for these two places to enter World War One.
