1) Relate the concepts of Blumer, Cooley, and Mead to THREE specific incidents in Black Like Me. This could involve analyzing the incident through a particular theory or concept OR using the incident as an example of a given concept.

For example: Consider pp. 68 and 93, where Griffin writes "we are all born blank..." How can Cooley, Mead, or Blumer help us understand what Griffin is trying to share with us?
