A. PIZZA BUSINESS (PRODUCT CONCEPT)
1. As for Pizza Business, I can classify it as a product that is "Convenience" because Pizza is a food that the consumer most usually buys.
2. On Packaging of Pizza for Business, plan to use a Paperboard box as it is lightweight and can protect the product inside and as for additional, make the color of packaging appealing of the eye of consumer because the physical look of the product packaging can attract the attention and interest. As for labelling, well designed packaging is one factor to promote the product but can add some information on the packaging such as "name of Pizza Business, and contact addresses".
3. Global issues/marketing used;
*Language- knowing what is the language of specific place/consumer I am targetting to place my business. This is to effectively convey and advertise the Pizza Business.
*Colors and Aesthetics- color and aesthetics of packaging can attract the consumer. As for food business and usual color of Pizza it is normally color of "orange". But used some color of red because this color is appealing most usually in impulse buyer.
4. As for rationale, this techniques most commonly used in food businesses. Well designed packaging, know your target and what is the effective means to communicate to them. "Benchmarking"
B. PIZZA BUSINESS (PRICING DECISIONS)
1. The pricing decisions I would use for Pizza Business is "Status quo". This is by providing different price and different sizes of Pizza that meet the satisfaction of customer but not limiting the quality of product.
2.how determinants of price affect the Pizza Business;
*STAGES IN THE LIFE CYCLE - in the introductory of Pizza Business, will keep the price of pizza as it is one kind of promotion to be known and appealing to the consumer. This is knowing your target and this product is good for impulse buyer.
*COMPETITION- in many situation, the price of the product must not be far different from the competitors pricd especially when you have same product (Pizza). It can be different most usually of the product is Specialty.
*COST OF PRODUCTION- this is the most needed to consider the price. Having a fixed price and can be able to recover the expenses and must have a profit to it..
3. Searched what is different determinants of pricing and make an understanding. And apply this understanding on what is real happening on a food business.
4. I would use "Direct" as a marketing channel. Face to face selling thinking that the Pizza I produce in the market is "impulse".
Direct marketing (face to face selling)is not expensive compare to other marketing channel. This is good for impulse product that is in introductory stage.
5. Searched what is different marketing channel and make an understanding and apply this understanding to know what is the most cost effecfive (less expensive) that is applicable for food business (Pizza).
