The Aboriginal people live in Australia and continue to practice their ancient culture. They are known as native people and have the abilities of hunting and gathering. The Aboriginal verbally transmit their legends, myths, and stories because they do not have a written language. Throughout centuries, stories have changed and are told differently to every person. They have the concept of cosmology and well perspectives of the world. Aboriginal view, rock painting as an existence of the earth and nature. The aim of the Aboriginal, "Aboriginal efforts to give meaning and shape their experience." We should appreciate our world and we shouldn't destroy our place rather yet care for it.
Similar to, "Yhi Brings Life to the World" as it has the same aspects and values of the world and the Solar System. The story of Yhi is an Australian myth. Yhi was the goodness of light and creation and believed there was something greater than humans who created the world. In the story, "The Platypus" it was explained how the water, animals, and birds thought they were more special than others, but Platypus was not involved in the group until everyone asked him to join. He decided not to join because he already knew he was special. I do believe no one is perfect and everyone is different from others and that is what makes us unique. We all should love animals.
From all the three stories, "The Man-Eater: The Mutjinga Myth" was different as it explained how an old woman had the power to bring people from their death by using magic words and how man is not powerful enough to be a leader. As Aboriginal stories tell how the man goes hunting and the women stays home doing household chores. The story demonstrated that both genders had the abilities and the power to face challenges and be a leader.
The story, "How Death Came: The Purukapali Myth" shows how the death can be lonely and how someone who comes from death have to starts over with a different journey and that everyone dies but the sprit does not. There are many tales, legends, and myths that explain death. Each culture changes over time and we learn from different factors to shape and mold who we are and from these we make improvements in knowledge.
