Question: In watching the video "How Cultures Across the World Approach Leadership", it was interesting to see how the differences in cultures are used to make decisions and view leadership. These leadership styles can help anticipate and avoid miscommunication.

What stands out in other cultures is how for some, there is a group mentality that workers and leaders are involved in decisions making, and a consensus is reached before any decisions are made. This usually takes more time to reach a decision and from it is difficult to change the path once a decision is made. In the U.S. as we are used to, decisions are usually made from the top down and occur at a quicker pace, and often change before the end result is presented. These decisions are usually made by a small group or individuals on their own.
