Case Assignment

The national franchising headquarters for a fast-food chain has received complaints about the service, quality, and cleanliness of one of its restaurants in your area. You have been sent to inspect and to report on what you see.

Task:

i. Select a nearby fast-food restaurant.
ii. Make notes about how many customers were served (assuming you visited the restaurant two or more occasions)

a. how quickly they received their food
b. how courteously they were treated

iii. Observe the number of employees and supervisors working
iv. Note the cleanliness of observable parts of the restaurant
v. Inspect the restroom as well as the exterior and surrounding grounds.
vi. Sample the food.
vii. Draw conclusions: Are the complaints justified? If improvements are necessary, make recommendations.
