The study that you found sounds absolutely fascinating. I have to admit I giggled a little on the divergent bits because I love that series. It makes complete sense to me that it means to have multiple solutions due to my knowledge from the series. I wonder if they used facts from studies such as these to make their fiction story? Back to your subject, it would also make sense that anything that involves physical exercise would make your brain more effective in problem solving especially if adrenaline is involved. When escaping from something our minds and bodies have to be in a hyper solution state to protect ourselves. If this can be recreated just through exercise it would be fabulous. Thank you for the information on that study.
