1. We have talked a lot about universality and how it can benefit group members. First, define what universality is. Next, describe an activity that you could facilitate in a group that would allow the group to experience universality. (You may choose any type of group).

Imagine you are co-leading a newly formed group for single mothers and someone in the group asks you if you have children. What is the best way for you to handle this situation? What would you say in the moment?

2. What does it mean to work in the "here and now" in a group? Give a detailed example of how this concept could be used in a group. Next, use that same scenario and discuss how this could translate to client's personal lives outside of the group.

3. We have talked a lot about the importance of having group norms in groups. 1) How would you address this in an initial group meeting? 2) What steps would you take if you notice that the group was not adhering to the established norms? Be specific.
