Assignment: Part One: Write a research paper that addresses the following prompts:
1. Describe three ways in which police come into contact with troublesome youth.
2. Explain in what circumstances police interactions with juveniles are different than their interactions with adults and why these differences are important.
3. Explain how contact with police could have a positive and a negative effect on juveniles and delinquency.
Part Two: As part of this assignment, you will also be required to perform a peer review. Be sure to include the following in your peer review:
1. What is the essay's argument? Is this argument "debatable," or is it a statement that every reader would agree with? Explain your answer.
2. Identify the sections that offer the strongest support for the argument. Remember: support must contain evidence and analysis. Explain why the support is effective.
3. Identify the sections that offer the weakest support for the argument. Explain. Does a paragraph, for example, lack evidence or analysis (or both)? Is the paragraph not clearly connected to the essay's argument?
4. If the author were to revise the paper, what is one additional scholarly reference that the author should consider including? Explain why.
Note: You may include the answers to these questions as annotations in the reviewed document. Your peer review will be assigned the morning after the assignment deadline. The due date for the Peer Review part will be one week after the original dude date and will display in Canvas after You must submit your peer review according to the date in the Course Schedule.

3. Cite the required readings in this module and at least two additional scholarly references.
