While change is constant and inevitable, it is sometimes difficult to push through. Management of the effects of stress of the change on employees is also a challenge. Company Z sells trendy and affordable ladies' clothes and apparels at three retail outlets in Singapore. When Covid-19 struck, many of its loyal customers chose not to visit its stores. Company Z is considering going online fully and closing its three retail stores for now to save on costs like rental.

Assume that Company Z has appointed you as their consultant and they would like to seek your advice on how they should go about implementing the change in a planned and systematic manner.

Required:

1. Using Kurt Lewin's three-step model, explain how Company Z should manage the proposed change for EACH step.

2. How should Company Z minimise stress for its employees so that they will stay productive and motivated? Explain TWO suggestions.
