Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to identify the depth of how Christ embodies the Wisdom of the Old Testament and to apply this aspect of Christ into our respective ministry contexts.

Instructions: Compose an infographic that addresses both parts of this summative assignment.

Part 1: Infographic.

Depict 10 ways in which Christ is the fulfillment of the Wisdom we meet in the Old Testament Wisdom Literature. Include the OT passage that describes Wisdom and the NT passage where Christ fulfills it. Then compose sentences that explain the connection between the two passages. Organize this anyway you like in the graphic organizer, but be sure that the 10 ways, the coordinating passages, and explanation are clearly discerned. (You are welcome to use apocryphal texts in addition to Protestant canonized Old Testament texts.)

Part 2: Example Summary

Communicate how the wisdom teachings from Proverbs (how to act well); Job (how to suffer well); Ecclesiastes (how to enjoy well); and Song of Songs (how to love well) are embodied in Christ? Include an example of Christ doing each one of these (with the New Testament passage reference). Then explain how Christians in your context can do the same. The connection between Christ and each wisdom theme should be about a paragraph, and the explanation of how your ministry context can embody wisdom similarly should be about a paragraph each (eight paragraphs total). Organize these four sections anyway you like on your graphic, but be sure that the four themes from the four wisdom books with Christ's embodiment and your ministry's participation are clearly discerned.
