Example 1.
a) The use of pet therapy with adult who suffer from dementia.
b) I could use this in my workplace to help settle and calm residents. this would mean potentially less medication might be used.
Example 2.
a) Telemedicine for GP clinics.
b) Since COVID Telemedicine use is increasing. Telemedicine is a great way to have interactions with a GP and or a GP Nurse when patients live a really long way away. It could be used for follow-up visits.

Example:
The ICN 1.3 talks about patients understanding information, and the Code of conduct talks about 1.6 recognising limitations of own practice and seeking guidance from the RN. My duty of care to the patient might mean that I ask the RN if I can organise an Interpreter to be available for one of my patients who is deaf that has to have surgery and doesn't understand fully what is happening.

(b) This means it is unlawful to take a patient's belongings for any purpose even if the patient has given it to me, as this could be interpreted as stealing.
