In the case of Manning wherein Dansforth questions his loyalty, and labeled the small gifts given to Manning by salespeople as bribery. Dansforth is losing his trust in Manning, as he ordered him to stop accepting tokens(Dansforth seen as bribery) from his clients, well in fact Manning is clearly doing his job.

Question : Assume that Manning is in bad faith, what or how can he regain dansforth's trust (more or less maintain his job cause dansforth can easily fire him) ? is there any way out of his situation? explain
