Client , is a 16-year-old African American/Hispanic female. Client has been subjected to a long history of physical abuse and trauma since she was a baby from her biological parents. Client was put in foster care and admitted to a mental facility in September 2017. She has been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder since then. Client has been admitted to the hospital several times owing to suicidal and behavioral dysregulation. Aggression, irritability, mood lability, self-harming behaviors, and hyperactivity have all been present in Client 's past. When she is told " no ", she has previously threatened to harm others, including her previous foster mother. Client was placed in group home in 2021 and since then she has struggled with creating healthy relationships with not only friends , but with family and staff. Her insight and judgment are limited as well as her impulse control. Client dissociates with expensive video games that disconnects her from reality and interrupts her social and education systems.
