Question: According to MyRadar.com, "we use consume data from the best sources, including our own satellites to provide you with useful, actionable information." A lot of weather websites will just use other existing satellites to pull their weather data, MyRadar will use it's own. They do work with the National Weather Service in providing alerts to include watches and warnings as well. On an average day, they receive about 50 megabytes of data per second. This makes for very accurate radar depiction and refreshed radars every 5 minutes. The onyl downside to their app, comparatively to The Weather Channels, is that it doesn't have a predictor radar. I do find the Weather Channels's future radars provide me with a little more warning of what is to come. The most reputable part of the app, in my opinion, is that they use their own satellites. They have a satellite Constellation called HORIS that are packed with sensors so they can relay the most up-to-date information down to the users. How can I extend on information about this post ?
