Case Study: The use of pre-employment screening has typically been an area of ethical concern, both in the minds of potential employers and candidates. One issue that has arisen recently is the use of formally illegal drugs that have now been decriminalized or legalized. If a drug has been legalized, is an employer ethically allowed to screen for its use? Can the use of a now illegal drug affect a candidate's selection? Argue from both the employer's and the potential employee's standpoints.
