Introduction
We are at a cross-roads in this country and people representing all racial groups, abilities, ages, ethnic groups, gender, religion, etc. are protesting in massive numbers and calling for change involving the treatment of African Americans and the oppression, inequality, disparate treatment, systemic racism, and institutional racism they continue to experience.
Discussion Questions
How can the business and industry sectors address systemic and institutional racism issues impacting African Americans and equal employment opportunities in the workplace?
What are some strategies individuals can use to help eradicate acts of systemic, institutional and racial discrimination and harassment in society and workplace settings?
Will racism continue to be a problem in America or do you believe it will eventually be eradicated?
Responses should also include a discussion on microaggressions, employment discrimination, and diversity training as a tool to address racial discrimination. Elaborate in detail and provide examples.
