Blog- in modern society not only do we work longer hours, but the way we work has also changed. We use computers, send emails, do a lot of things online. However, according to Harper and Leicht, our jobs also became "jobs where pay is low, work is dull, and employment is unstable" (98). Think about your own future - what is the likelihood that you will hold a job that you not only love, but one that is stable, that offers benefits and that promises a good, stable (what does this mean)) economic standing (since jobs like that are disappearing, according to Ritzer)? Are there any specific steps that one might take to ensure such a job?
