Question 1: How business cycles are normal and how unemployment ties closely with those business cycles. Given this information you will probably experience the effects of a recession at some point in their lifetime, if you haven't already.
Point 1. The last recession the United States experienced was from 2007-2009. If you were effected by this recession(or any previous recessions) in some way and feel comfortable sharing/explaining how this, please do so as your discussion for this post.
Point 2. If you have not been effected by a recession in some way, ask a friend, family member, co worker, etc. about their experience during the last recession(or any recession) and how things may or may not have changed since this time. What did you learn from talking to this individual/individuals? Everyone will have had different experiences/stories to tell. Some may not have been largely effected by the last recession at all, and if they weren't why do you think that was the case? Please keep in mind, that for some individuals this may be a sensitive topic, so please be considerate when asking questions about this time frame to others.
