Select an example of the black media you want to study. Let's say your select Ebony Magazine or another example or representative of black media, the next thing is what to look at. For instance, how did Ebony magazine cover the killing of Emmett Till Or, you could compare how two newspapers, one black, one white covered one story that affected blacks. How have representations of minorities (African Americans, Asians, Latinos, African, etc) by the dominant media evolved over the years?
