Suppose that you wish to approximate a typical isoquant of the nursing output.

The nursing output consists of two specific types of output.

1st is the the nursing output produced due to clinical-based nursing input (e.g. IV Line management, medication management);

2nd is the nursing output produced to caring-based nursing input (e.g. washing and/or feed the patient, provide compassion).

The overall nursing output is a function of these two forms of nursing inputs. I think that there is a min level of substitution and complementarity between these two.
