The strategic plan gives you a place to record your mission, vision, and values, as well as your long-term goals and the action, plans you'll use to reach them.

Your strategic plan will include the following

I. Information about your organization, including mission and vision statements.

II. Research to support all sections of your strategic plan.

III. Goals developed from SWOT Analysis.

IV. Build Leadership using Leadership Development Plans.

V. Create implementation and change management plans (also called action plans) for specified goals.

VI. This should also include how you will evaluate your goals.

VII. Develop cultural competence within your institution / organization.

X. Use ‘Year in Review' to see where the institution / organization was and where it is going.
