Course Learning Objective: Apply interpersonal communication theory and principles in a variety of evolving relational contexts.

Assignment: How are you with self-disclosure? Are you pretty open with others with a very small hidden window? Or, do you keep most things hidden and have many things unknown about yourself? Choose a relationship that you are currently in: marriage, friendship, parent, etc. Write a paper describing your Johari window and that of the other person in the relationship. Spend time in the paper describing both of your Johari windows and then how your differing amounts of self-disclosure affect the relationship.

Formatting: Your paper should be in APA/MLA format, 500 - 750 words, double-spaced, and proofread for spelling and grammatical errors. This project can also be presented in an alternative format such as video, PowerPoint, art, etc. as long as the above requirements are met.
