Topic: Gender and Criminal Justice: The Intersection of Race and Gender for Women of Color
Focus: Investigate how women of color face unique challenges in the criminal justice system, including issues of gender-based violence, stereotypes, and the intersectionality of race and gender. Look at how these challenges differ for women of color compared to white women or men of color.
Questions: How are women of color treated differently during arrest, trial, and incarceration compared to their white counterparts? How can reforms address these disparities?
