Objective of this Assignment: To demonstrate an understanding of theft, robbery and extortion. Instructions: Respond to the following questions in brief essay format:
1. Is property right the same as ownership? Explain.
2. How are theft and robbery related as offences?
3. What constitutes a threat in relation to extortion?
4. Alice and John divorced. John collected coins before the marriage. Alice took the coins one day and sold them for $5000. She spent the money on herself. When John found out several weeks later, Alice denied any knowledge. Can Alice be convicted of theft if one can provide that she took the coins? Explain.
