scenerio Omar loves playing baseball for his college team. However, as a practicing Muslim, Omar has a difficult time during team prayers before games. The majority of Daniel's teammates are Christian, and their prayers are particularly religious. Recently, some of the players on his team even invited Omar to go to church with them. The coach wants to help Omar and has asked him to lead the prayer at the next game. Omar is nervous about whether he should say a Christian prayer or a Muslim prayer. He is also concerned about how to respond to the invitations to attend church. How might Omar proceed without offending his friends but also staying true to his beliefs? What are the major differences between religion and spirituality? Think about how you can incorporate aspects of both in everyday life. What approach could Omar take to express both his religion and spirituality to his teammates?
