Choose one of the memos from the Urban Institute's website on public education accountability, which you can tie to a real-world example & Discuss the scenario example and provide some context as it relates to the memo. What are the key factors in the example that relate to the memo's topic? Was there an action taken in the example? What were the results?

Question 2:

Economic policy dilemmas are usually influenced by how tax policy, spending policy, and debt policy are linked to social policies. An example is subsidies; there are many ways in which the government provides support to economic enterprises, and subsidies represent one of the oldest forms of economic support. As an example of how this works in the "real world," let's look at something relatively contemporary. President Clinton established offices in Harlem, New York, which was part of an Enterprise Zone. As a result, office and personal property costs skyrocketed-so much so that long-time, traditional residents were forced out. Does this mean that the Enterprise Zone in Harlem was working? (It should be noted that Clinton did not stay in the neighborhood, but his presence forever impacted the area).

Think about ideological differences and mindsets. How effective are our current policies regarding Enterprise Zones and gentrification? Provide examples.
